Mr. Schweiger is also a senior consultant with Schweiger & Associates, a strategic management consulting firm. Schweiger and Associates specializes in facilitating strategy development and execution, merger and acquisition integration and organizational culture assessment and intervention initiatives for mid-market to many Fortune 500 organizations.
Mr. Schweiger has worked as a strategic analyst on projects for: Basic Element (Russia), Cendant, Chevron/Texaco, Cooper Cameron, Cox Communications, Daimler-Chrysler, Home Depot, PepsiCo and Starbucks. He has worked as a strategic management consultant and executive education facilitator on a wide array of initiatives with Deutsche Bank, Duke Corporate Education, Duke Fuqua School of Business Executive Education, Dow Chemical, Enodis Corporation, Rea Construction, Lane Construction Corporation, The Baptist General Convention of Texas, Emory Executive Development, Birkman International, the Duke University Cancer Center, Metso Paper and Sonoco Products.
Mr. Schweiger is a regular guest lecturer for the University of South Carolina, Moore School of Business, where he educates undergraduate and graduate level business students on the business consulting field, strategy development, mergers and acquisitions, as well as how young people can succeed in today's corporate world.
Mr. Schweiger recently co-authored an article entitled, "Strategic Growth Initiatives: Take a Fresh Look", published in the University of South Carolina Business & Economic Review. He was recently quoted as an organizational culture expert in a nationally circulated consumer electronics magazine. Mr. Schweiger recently authored the case study, “Wal-Mart Sustainability and Climate Change” for the Duke Fuqua School of Business.
Mr. Schweiger is also an accomplished orchestral percussionist who has won numerous prizes for his performances. His performance credits include: The Lexington Philharmonic Orchestra, The Sewanee Symphony and the South Carolina Philharmonic.
